CPI’s Delegate Services Manager wins Innovation Award

Miriam Verdon announced as EventsAIR Innovator of the Year

Conference Partners International (CPI) is delighted to announce that Delegate Services Manager, Miriam Verdon, has been awarded the Innovator of the Year Award at the 2019 EventsAIR Client Innovation Awards, which took place in London this month at the EventsAIR RISE User Conference 2019.

This award recognises clients who demonstrate vision and originality in utilising and assembling EventsAIR tools for a truly engaging and successful event or meeting. Miriam has been acknowledged for her work on twenty-six different conferences which she and her team oversaw in the 2018/2019 financial year.

Miriam joined CPI as an intern in 2016 and has since progressed to manage the Delegate Services Team, which leads on delegate management and liaison and is a vital team within CPI. Miriam joined the company when it had just transitioned to using EventsAIR and dedicated herself to learning the system inside-out so that CPI is always able to deliver clients’ exact requirements. Miriam has learnt how to manipulate EventsAIR, enabling CPI to work to specific and bespoke client needs, and she also has a thorough understanding of the EventsAIR app, which CPI offers to clients as a sustainable way to keep delegates informed, engaged and connected throughout the lifecycle of an event.

Speaking about the award, Miriam says: “I am delighted to receive this honour. After being onsite at a conference for 6 days, the call came as a welcome surprise. It is testimony to the hard work which has been invested in EventsAIR by CPI and the ways in which it enables us to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

CPI is delighted for Miriam on this award which recognises her innovative and effective use of EventsAIR, ensuring clients always receive the best possible service for their meetings.
